Welcome to the new Upstate Carolina Linux Users Group (UCLUG) site, hosted at Immedion
The Upstate Carolina Linux Users Group is a group of Linux enthusiasts in the Upstate area of South Carolina who like to gather and talk about Linux and other Unix-based operating systems, and free and open source software.
Next Meeting
UCLUG meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, March 10th. We'll open our meeting with a "newbie" topic about 62 different and useful command line tools presented by David Cullen. The main topic will be presented by Michael Hartman, an HPC Systems Administrator with GE. Michael administers a high-performance Linux cluster at GE and will talk about what they use clustering for, configuration options and all the other goodness involved with Linux clustering.
