Welcome to the Upstate Carolina Linux Users Group (UCLUG) site, hosted at Immedion

The Upstate Carolina Linux Users Group is a group of Linux enthusiasts in the Upstate area of South Carolina who like to gather and talk about Linux and other Unix-based operating systems, and free and open source software.

Next Meeting

UCLUG meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 14th. The topic will be Android development and architecture and perhaps other sub-topics within the realm of Android. We'll have a speaker from Verizon to discuss the cell phone providers' perspective of Android. Additionally, Rick Smith will be talking about developing Android applications using the Ruby-based Rhomobile development suite. If for some reason that alone hasn't motivated you to eagerly come, FGP Technology will be providing free pizza and drinks!!
